DAY CHALLENGE: DAY 9
Lessons to Master Your Money, Career, Health & Relationships.
“The best way for you and I to be interesting is for you and I to be interested.”
– Michael Brooks
Nothing will change unless you change!
I know...that’s deep. Don’t let the simplicity of that statement cause you to pass it off. Read it again. What have you been doing over and over (and over) again expecting a different outcome?
Today, we’re going to look at the topic of how to build trust and rapport. Why is this important? For those of you who own a business or render a service, you’ve heard it as the KNOW-LIKE-TRUST factor. If we had a choice, would we buy from someone we don’t like and don’t trust? Not likely. For those of you who are working for a company – why is the skill of building trust and rapport so important? How does this translate to your relationships?
Knowing how to do it is just as important as knowing how NOT to do it. This skill is an art. It’s not about learning how to manipulate others to get your way. It’s about truly connecting with another human being so that they want to help you because they feel you are there already doing the same.
Watch the video below to learn more about this foundational skill and then come back and check out the coaching questions below! Enjoy and see you tomorrow!
